Literature Text

Let's try this.
Nothing too fancy.
Why not make it.
Simple.

It's another day for us. Waking up to sunlight peeking through the shades.
Take a seat, grab a pen, and open your book. See that blank page meant
for today. See the adjectives, nouns, verbs and punctuation that will fill it.
You could begin with the first thought that comes to mind or lean back in your
chair pondering over a paragraph or so.

How will it start? Will you continue from yesterday or in an unknown scene?
Will the plot develop gradually or does a startling and unpredictable event
hurl the protagonist straight into the fray?

Your pen commences its entrancing dance with elaborate movements as it makes
its way across the page. Scratching marks here and there, dragging the tip
to create both thick and thin lines.

It's not how you had initially wanted it, but you can always come back later
to alter a few words or sentences.

You take a moment to reflect on what brought you to this day. Those days that
were calm, strange, dreadful, anticipated, and put in other descriptive ways.
Wait, you're getting sidetracked. Back to the book.

The narrative continues. Just as the days before the journey develops with
occasions that push your main character onward and incidents that heed their
forward progress.

Laying down the pen finally and gazing through the shades at the departing sun,
this day has already begun to conclude. Flipping through the endless pages before
setting the book aside, a sigh from your lips escapes. Who knows what the next
pages will say? What grand accomplishes will follow or grave misfortunes ensue?

Don't trouble yourself over pointless thoughts. Those days will come when it is
there time.

Wake to this day.
Stand on your feet.
And take your pen.
This is your story.
How will you write your story?
